Eta Carina I found this picture on the web.
To be honest, I really don´t know what it is! :-) But it looks nice, doesn´t it? |

Quasar 3C 273 This Quasar consists of two parts. It is to be found
at a distance of 2 billion light-years. It expands with a velocity of 50.000 km per second
and shines 400 times brighter than the Milky Way. A Quasar is a source of strong
radiation, but apart from that only few is known about this phenomenon by now. |

Black Hole in NGC 7052 I Object 7052 is a elliptic galaxie in the
constellation Vulpecula at a distance of 191 million light-years. The mass of this black
hole amounts to 300 millions times the mass of our own sun. |
 |
Black Hole in NGC 7052 II Detail shot of the same object. You can see the
black hole´s rotating disc of dust in the centre of the galaxie. The diameter is 3700
light-years. The mass of the disc is only 1 % of the mass of the hole itself, but it is
enought to build 3 millions stars similar to the sun. |

Black Hole in NGC 4261 Another black hole in the center of galaxy NGC 4261.
Only the gas that falls into the black hole because of the enormous gravity is visible.
The picture was made by the Hubble Telescope. |
